  • Diana Bociga (The University of Manchester)
  • Dr Yongyu Zeng (Lancaster University)

Background:

The Manchester Organisational Non-compliance Initiative (MONI) is a research group based at The University of Manchester that uses empirical and interdisciplinary methodologies to generate insights about the nature, organisation and control of various forms of organisational, corporate, white-collar and financial crimes.

The workshop will focus on discussing new ideas, perspectives and directions in the study of white-collar and organisational or corporate crime. Specifically, the aim is for submissions to identify the new areas of criminological inquiry that are being studied in this field, and which new theoretical perspectives and methodological approaches inform research in these areas. The workshop is an opportunity for PhD candidates and early career researchers to present, discuss and receive feedback on their research in sessions chaired by senior discussants. After the workshop, submissions will be expanded and revised by authors, before being collated by the Selection Committee for publication in an edited book collection.

Registration and all catering - including tea/coffee breaks and on-site lunches - are provided free of charge.

Travel bursaries will be available for colleagues based internationally. More information will be provided regarded travel bursaries when available.
